Hi there, I've done very similar work to convert a large VB5 project to VB.NET. I built a tool to convert all database commands from old DAO Access to ADO.NET. I find your advertisement, when I noticed that you are looking for a software developer in Java language with experience and Object-oriented view. I don't like to talk too much about my carrier, I think the present and the future is more important. On the other hand I was a web-application developer at a small company for 2years. We programming with Java the Enterprise Edition, used to go with Eclipse IDE, and I had a lot of favourite pluss knowledge. I tried the Google Web Toolkit, and then I make everything what was possible with it, I used to check the forums, the news about new features, so I get know Gwt-ext,the SmartGwt, I had known the hibernate and the spring before. My favourite job was developing the worldwide web.

It's a rather repetetive task although, if one uses the right tools, it may be somewhat simplified. I estimate 1 day to anslyse the queries and the other 5 to perform the required changes.
