Wordpress is king of the blog site and you are in right track. Whatever, with due respect I want to request you that please do not award me the project now until I wlll go through with the mock-up. Mock-up is the ey to clear the requirement. As soon as I will have the Mock-up, I will go through with these, will send you my understandings and queries on each. We can discuss together on the requirement to make it concrete so that we will not start fighting in future. You mentioned it templating but seems you need the complete site as a deliverable from me. You placed the name of the pages but you have not mentioned the features required for the pages. According to my understandings categories is taking a huge roll here. Based on custom categories site will behave in home page and all. You said Custom categories for three pages, Why? You may increased the categories later, is it not? So, we should keep in mind that it may increase in future, we can make it dynamic. But you know better than me and can define accordingly. I would prefer if you will please send me a small brief about the requirement as well. Who will input the Blog and glossary pages? I think I will not have to do this, correct? Almost I completed my proposal without writing about my past work and portfolio.
