add feature to existing web-based applicaiton

We need to add some additional functionality to our current web-based application. 1. We need to add a new Link only visible to a specific user type(role) 2. When a user with that type logs in we need to: a. user select a number of records and click on new link, i. a popup appears with a block of text, I will provide and a check box that they MUST click, then they can click submit ii. this will update 2 fields in 2 tables in db with a datetime stamp and users Real Name iii. once the user "submits" 3. We need a change made to an existing button/icon that currently displays one way to display a popup instead with a well formatted display of values from the db (i will provide the onscreen layout preferred). a. if user Role is the same as above, then they need to have the option to submit on this ONE record as they can above. b. user will need the ability to Print the "pop" but the print must look professional with a header and footer I will provide. c. currently the button/icon is static, I need the icon/button to be one way until user "submits" from #2 then it should change to a different icon/button
