My partners and I are looking for an outstanding Web Developer to be responsible for the coding, innovative design and layout of our web app.
Our proposed web app is a platform that allows individuals to exchange business services without the use of money. We would like to compel 10,000+ users a month to use our services and establish ourselves to be the destination for a trusted, easy to use platform within our niche.
The immediate requirement of the app is to allow users to create a portfolio and exchange services as well as message/chat with each other. Your responsibilities will include building the backend of our web app from concept to completion ensuring that the development is a kin to the design.
Responsibilities include:
- Write a well designed, testable efficient code using the best software development practices
- Create a layout/user interface using standard HTML/CSS practices
- Integrate data from various back-end services and databases
- Gather and refine specifications/requirements based on technical needs
- Create & maintain software documentation
- Cooperate with web designers to match visual design intent
Requirements:
- Proven working experience in web programming
- In depth knowledge of HTML/CSS
- Familiarity with at least one of the following program languages: PHP, ASP.NET, Javascript or Ruby on Rails
- Solid understanding of how web apps work including security, session management and best development practices
- Hands on experience with network diagnostics, network analysis tools
- Basic SEO knowledge
- Aggressive problem diagnosis and creative problem solving skills
- Able to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines and budget
- BS in computer Science/related field or equivalent experience
