We would like to develop an ecomerce platform for our organization that will work hand in hand with 24hrs teleshoping TV channel. In our vision, a customer can order a product either directly from the e-commerce website or make a phone call to the teleshopping channel where a representative will book the product on their behalf from the backend or elevated staff account. The customer can also order by thirdparty systems and the order is pushed to ecommerce API for processing. The platform will be integrated to various payment platforms and will be able to follow the history of an ordered product from ordering, payment, shipping (which company is shipping) and delivery. Product on the system will have item ids to enable easy ordering for those ordering from phone calls or mobile ussd. The system will also be able to manage inventory and give alerts when stock is depleted or prevent ordering of products that are out of stock. The 24hour TV channel will also run on the website.
