PROJECT DETAILS: We post event details of local nightlife events. This requires us entering a Facebook event URL which automatically pulls a bunch of details (name, description, location etc). We are looking to automate this process by A) recognizing specified Facebook pages to follow, B) recognizing when one of those pages adds an event and C) add the event details into our database. REQUIREMENTS. 1. Knowledge in Facebook API 2. Fluent English 3. Don't send any copy & paste proposals. These will immediately be ignored. I'd like to know how you plan on completing the project! Proposed Milestones £185 GBP - On completion There is no method to know immediately when a Facebook page adds an event. So, my plan is creating a PHP script that connects to the Facebook API and gets the events of the pages. And set up crobjob to this script to run every 30 minutes (or 10 minutes if needed).
