We need a full functioning Fortune Wheel html canvas allowing visitors on website to spin for free giveaways. When visitor spin the wheel it will eventually stop at a segment and an overlay message will appear with information on the prize won. For inspiration see links [1] and [2] below. The application will be implemented in a PHP7 based website, and must be fully cross platform (web, mobile), preferably HTML5 and JS/Jquery based. Backend/admin for controlling must also be delivered. Notice: this project requires freelancer to provide all needed functionality, but a minimum of graphic skills are required to prepare for design work at later stage, meaning that coding must respect that any element used must be easily amendable through images/CSS/HTML. Backend/controlling Through a web based backend (with underlying database), we must be able to configure the wheel on the following parts: * Number of segments. * Segment probabilities. * Segment background color. * Segment image. * Segment prize title, description, image and button text. About probabilities per segment, the admin must make it possible to distribute probabilities evenly (100% divided by no. of segments) or probabilities can be set manually for each segment. When entering manual values, validation of total probability = 100% must be made, and resetting of manual probabilities by touch of one button must also be available. Also, the following must be easily amendable through code: * Spinning time (seconds from spin start to end). * Pin marker color/image source. Other requirements * Overlay with prize information can only be closed by hitting an X in the upper right corner. Layout/designs * Main source of inspiration can be seen in link [1] * Spinning motion must be smooth * Flashy, playful (ie. see link [6]) * Segment background colors must shift to separate segments visually. This algorithm must take into account that number of segments can be both odd or even, and that all segments will all have a prize PNG image on top that needs to be dinstinctly visible. Hi there, I'm Matt Sergej and can create your fortune wheel solution for you (24 years a webmaster and IT developer, scripting web animations/charts/visualizations for 5+ years). I have read your requirements, checked all reference links and understand all that needs to be done. None of the provided animations were smooth enough for me so this will be the biggest challenge and most revised scripting part. While the wheel could be made as the SVG image the logo images (requirement) in it calls for HTML5 canvas solution, better than existing (mixing HTML DIV elements with images with canvas and SVG images as background and more!). Canvas wheel would be proper enough for smooth animation even in small angle rotations with no visual quality loss (assuming the good quality of logo images). We should discuss the database used. I somehow think you would like to have several wheels created that could be run in several giveaways running at the same time. Since database write operations will only be with your administration mode edits and user records after spinning the wheel (taking several seconds) even MySQL database is good enough for a start (with fast reading e.g. giveaway configuration when a user visits the web page). The plan is also to have the entire system scripted e.g. fortune wheel - as you have stated - with multimedia resources and texts also driven by configuration and/or database. I'm practically free at the moment. Looking forward to your reply, Matt
