A need to modify some existing PHP scripts

I am not a php programmer and I need someone with php experience to help modifying some basic functions that I am using currently. 1. I use a open source File Manager written in php and I can edit txt file ok but when I edit another php file or other text based files it failed. 2. I have a php dynamic table which accept some POST values but it requires all parameters at any one time, I want to just POST one of few parameters to update a certain field(s) instead Also a button needs to be added to the table to link to a variation of the table 3. I have another table which requires a text color /size to be changed based on a condition. 4. I have another table where a couple of parameters to update color of a certain text field and something similar 5. I have a table which have a digital clock (counter) but it is not running smoothly because I POST too often to it to update the clock, need to use a better approach for displaying the clock without POST too often. This is the main scope of this task. The actual scripts and supported files will be provided to the freelancer. Thanks
