Hi I have thoroughly reviewed your project description and I can complete this project for you. My approach to your project will be to provide a light-weight plugin which will record all of the views and categorise them by author and editor. The plugin would either catch every time a post is edited and if the user is an editor attach them as an editor to that post (for the purpose of tracking their views on that post) or allow admins to set editors for posts manually, whichever best suits your needs. Authors are straightforward, every post has an author. This plugin would be standalone and would not require modifying WordPress core or any theme or plugin.
