PDFX to XML

I have a PDF file, which when I try to convert it to XML becomes a pdfx file. I need to convert that pdfx file into XML for export into a spreadsheet or I need that pdfx file converted into a spreadsheet. I'm thinking that the PDFX file can be converted to XML with the XSL Stylesheets that converted it from XML to PDF in the first place, but I'm not sure. I'm looking for an exact description of how this can be done. If a PHP application can be created for the one or two documents that I'd like to convert (which should be quick) then I'll likely pay for a few hours of work to have that completed. I'd like to be able to select a pdf file, convert it to pdfx, convert it to XML and then have an excel spreadsheet of that data created. Please let me know if this is possible. Thanks.
