In regards to your search, there's an underlying issue with the way Magento retrieves search results - I use a combination of extension / local code edits to ensure every search result is returned - I can provide proof if you like. The Pending Payment issue is quite a straight forward fix and won't take any more than 15 minutes to resolve - it's not actually related to your IPN but I can rectify that too In regards to optimization (and why my bid is $200) I can GUARANTEE less than a 2s load time, dependent on your server setup.
