General information for the website: We have created a market place for patients to receive low cost aesthetic medical treatments Kind of development: Customization of existing website Num. of web pages/modules: ~4 Description of every page/module: Harley Academy Clinics (HAC) - a website created to source patient models for our training days. USPs: discounted treatment, highly safe, ethical, treatments available all around the UK. This website is used to take payment for treatment and provide the patient as much information as possible before their treatment. Harley Academy (HA) - a website for students of aesthetic medicine ('Botox' and dermal fillers), looking for information about completing higher education and gain more practical experience in the industry before branching out on their own in their clinic or existing practice. Students can view Harley Academy's course date availability and pay for their course in an upfront fee or in instalments (via PayPal, Go Cardless, Stripe, and using the Woo Commerce plugin). Description of requirements/features: Requirements below that relate to the following two websites: [login to view URL] (HAC) AND [login to view URL] (HA) HAC – Page doesn't load in right order (text is large initially and shrinks down to the right size) – When a purchase is made, there is no countdown of availability (ie. if a slot is bought, it still shows as available when it should not be) – Manually having to upload dates and times for each patient slot (time consuming!) – Browser caching does not work – if images were in cache of user browser – Add tick box for mailchimp for wordpress – Add phone number entry field to booking site slider – Re-UX the slider writing – may need new 'mobile readable' slider – Way to link up iZettle info (for rest of payment after) to HAC payments – after they pay a deposit – Can't preview blog posts – need this functionality – Lag in time between cursor movement between dropdown menus – Need server access – new website? HA – Build a 'fast tack' product page – make a 'buy now' button, direct the 'buy now' button to payment to correct product – Add 'fast track' product payment option – After clicking 'book now', a form pops us asking the user questions "do you have your own mentor", "how many years of experience do you have ", "approximately how many cases do you perform in a year" –> these answers guide the user to the correct product to purchase – Add "apply now" button instead of "book now" – point to a form fill in page (exists already) – send email with answers to enquiries@HA and create an exit/thank you page – When we set this up it was just to enable gzip compression and set basic caching with default settings. If you want us to take some more time to properly optimise everything we can do, but it will take considerably longer. In particular there are many scripts and stylesheets being loaded separately instead of being concatenated. This results in many http requests from the same source and correspondingly slow page load times. My initial recommendation would be to use a CDN service such as Cloudflare. Concatenating scripts and styles would also be a good idea but this can be much trickier depending on whether a pre-deploy build process has been used and whether they are being loaded by plugins. – W3 Total Cache is generally not recommended by many and hasn't been for some time due to the lack of support it's received in recent years. Extra services needed: Customization, 3rd party integration, Optimization, Security Specific technologies required: WordPress, may need Php Extra notes: Ideally we are looking for someone to come to our offices once a week and do this work - happy to have the rest of the work during the week done remotely.
