Hello, i'm in Canada also! This is a very simple script, in fact I already have one ready to go, I would just need to adjust it to match your dataset. We would use a correlation algorithm and a sparse feature matrix to determine which movies to recommend based on what other users have viewed. We can generate a list of recommendations in Excel. I can do this probably in one day after receiving the dataset. I can also show a sample using the example 'movie review' dataset that I have. I'm ready to go right away.
