Hi everyone!
I'm Carlo, the CEO of Callbell, a centralised collaborative inbox for Facebook Messenger, WhatsApp Business and Telegram which allows businesses to communicate with their customers in real-time on the messaging platform of their choice.
We launched the product in September 2019 and so far we have 900+ paying clients. We have grown from 2 people to a team of 18 people working full-remote from all around the world (France, Portugal, Italy, Argentina, Peru, Brasil, India).
I'm posting this project here because we are looking for somene to help us and join our tech team! Our main challenge for 2021 will be to scale our current real-time messaging infrastructure which is based on Ruby on Rails, ActionCable / AnyCable, Golang, Redis and Postgres.
Here's a detailed list of what we expect from a potential good fit:
- Strong understanding of the Ruby programming language and Rails framework.
- Proficiency in Javascript including experience with React, Angular or Vue
- 5+ years of professional full-stack web development.
- Previous experience maintaining production applications.
- Focus on writing clear, maintainable, tested code.
- Experience with Git, continuous integration and regular deployments.
- Understanding and appreciation of UX and usability.
We are looking for an initial project collaboration followed by a more permanent role in the team if everything works out on both sides; the position itself is full remote but we will try to meet at least once a quarter in a location around Europe (well, not entirely the case right now with the current global situation).
