We have an application called “Perfect Track” that constantly writes to a configuration file. If power is cut to the PC without doing a proper Windows shutdown the configuration file becomes corrupted. We need to create a backup of the configuration file and update that backup every 5 minutes. When power is cut to the PC and corrupts the configuration, the backup file will be copied over the corrupted file to fix it when the PC boots back up.
