Need someone to disable the double opt in for mailchimp. My online store [login to view URL] has a pop up window (Storeya App) that collects email address and in return we give our customer $10 off their first purchase. I require for this to be tested just to make sure that the emails being entered in Storeya pop up and also on our Newsletter sign up box in the footer is added into our mailchimp list properly.

I work with MailChimp a lot and on a previous job someone wanted the same thing done. I just wanted to let you know that MailChimp does not allow you to disable the opt out because according to their rules the person signing up for your mail list must agree to receiving emails from you. I believe it's part of the Anti Spam laws and the only way around that would be to manually add them yourself so they don't get that confirmation email. Anyone after that will need to opt-in.
