It simply measures temperature, set compressor and fan relays on for x minutes, then heater relay on for y minutes. Same principle. And of course it has a simple web interface. Hi, I'm an electronic engineer with more than 5 years of experience in Arduiono based embedded systems development. I've decided to apply for this project after reading your description because, I have previous experience related to this in my previous projects. To achive your requirement, we can host a web service on ESP device and access it from any web browser on the same network. Also if you want to do it remotely, we can do it via a cloud server as well. So once you set the timing values from the web interface, we can store them in internal Flash memory of the ESP device, so that even if we power off, it will start from those values. For the timing we can use internal clock for ESP device, without using any external devices. Controlling the relay boards based on timing is not a big issue. If you need we can add some power saving features too. I'm confident about delivering the project sucessfully and I have ESP devices to test the code as well. Hi, I'm more than delighted to see this project btw. I'm currently working as a senior embedded engineer in my company with a field experience of more than 3 years. For the past 6 months i was onto design and develop a custom board with ESP32 Wrover chip which exposes most of the functionality of the chip and worked extensively on each and every bit on it . We had 3 clents for this board only and has deployed many boards on Industrial and telematics applications . Anything related to ESP32 is just matter on integration for me and i have a lot of experience working on arduino too. My other field of expertise include PIC,ARM,ST and 8051 chip . Since on ESP32 we have ESP-IDF which is a framework provided by espressif is available , for your application either we can have interrupt for timer or can have a task separately running (it have freertos support ) for timer monitoring and state machine for switching of the relays.
