I am trying to install, test and tinker with a program that draws checker board graphics patterns on a screen. It was written in Python and uses Pygame to generate iterations of light and dark mask patterns. I tried to install it on my Linux (64bit)Mint machine but had problems using the Atom Python interpreter to run it. It seems to have spacing issues. I also had problems with Linux dependencies and with installing Pygame on my machine. I would like someone to use Bash and Python and possibly Ubuntu Customisation Kit (UCK) to install the old Python program on a new Linux Ubuntu version (preferably a Rasberry Pi compatible distro ISO) with the dependencies installed and Pygame package so it can be installed as a Linux ISO install or executable file. Alternately a tarball package with all dependencies for click through install. I would like it so all dependencies are pre-installed. I am also thinking about later using a Raspberry Pi to run the program on an LCD projector screen so perhaps running the ISO in a VirtualBox on my laptop can allow instillation of dependencies more easily for Rasberry Pi test later. Suggestions also appreciated.
