I am in need of a developer that can create a prediction model that can predict commodity prices using historical data from the past 10 years. This is not a simple forecast model. It requires deep understanding and skills in advanced statistical modelling and machine learning methods.
Key responsibilities include:
- Analyzing and interpreting complex datasets.
- Designing algorithms and building models for prediction.
- Testing the reliability of the prediction model.
- Full writing of an entire detailed report (25 – 40 pages) covering the following topics with all the charts and tables (human analysis and writing no AI text)

3. Feature Selection/Engineering
4. Model Training
5. Model Evaluation
6. Hyperparameter Tuning
7. Validation and Testing
8. Interpretability
9. Deployment
Experience and Skills Required:
- Proven experience in designing prediction models.
- High level of expertise in statistical analysis.
- Proficient in machine learning methods.
- Capable to work with large datasets.
The end goal is to have an accurate and responsive model and detailed narrative report describing every single step in an accurate and detailed manner. This model should be able to provide valuable insights that can aid in decision-making and strategic planning. Experts in computational statistics or related fields are highly desirable. Only those with significant experience in predictive modelling need to apply.
