Document Translator responsible for translating or interpreting written documents into another language (English to Japanese; Japanese to English). Create various kinds of translated document in accordance with departmental or company needs through communication with department heads, division supervisors and other top management to assist in smooth departmental or company operations. Responsibilities: - Translates or interprets written documents from English to Japanese and Japanese to English, maintaining the content, context and style of the original document. Discuss translation requirements with the requesting employee. - Maintains the Translation Request database. - Assists Engineering Departments throughout Office Machine Group (OMG) in assigning unique code for a particular product Qualifications: - Associates degree or Bachelor degree in Linguistics - 2 - 4 years experience in translating documents from English to Japanese and Japanese to English; required - Intermediate skills in Microsoft applications
