Looking for a 3D animation professional with experience in iClone (or equivalent program). The project involves the use of a photorealistic avatar to demonstrate a client's new product. The avatar will be required to demo several key features of the product, which is a rebreather device to be used in emergencies by the consumer/purchaser. Tasks will include displaying the product and its components, putting on the face mask and connecting the mask to the device, attaching the device by use of neck and waist straps, showing the person sitting and lying down with the product during use.
The extent of the demo will likely depend on the cost. Under ideal circumstances, it would be cost-effective to demo the product from removal from the shipping carton (i.e., opening the carton, removing the device (which ships in a zippered bag), unzipping the bag, removing the face mask and headgear straps, attaching the mask using the straps, making adjustments to the inflatable cushion that is part of the face mask (to achieve a leak free, comfortable fit on the user's face), removing the plastic cap on the fitting to which the mask is to be connected, etc.
It will not be necessary to have the avatar speak--a narration can be used to explain the actions/content related to the product.
The scene/background for the action can be simple--a room with very little detail so that the viewer is not distracted. A reclining chair or a couch are the only pieces of furniture with which the avatar will need to interact (to sit/recline with the zippered bag worn around its neck and with the waist strap attached as well--these straps keep the product from shifting and pulling against the face mask straps). also there will need to be a table top on which to place and manipulate the device during the demo.
If you feel confident that this project is one that you can handle quickly and efficiently, please respond as soon as possible.
P.S. I suggest using rigged avatars that are already available so work is focussed on the animation and not on actual design/creation of the avatar. Also suggest discussing how best to provide 3D models of the client’s product for integration into the animation. If client can provide those models using readily available capture/digitization tools, that might be ideal.
