Hi there I own a medelmax 2 3d printer by [login to view URL] and have recently upgraded it from one hotend to a dual hotend (see picture attached) and need to change the settings in arduino with the original marlin firmware from makerstoolworks which is set for one hotend only to two hotends. I need someone to change the settings so that both work. I will provide any information you need to complete the job.
(please find [login to view URL] firmware file I have used arduino software to view it and updated code for the following settings) if you need more info let me know
I have put the second extruder on by changing these settings:
#define HEATER_1_MINTEMP and max
#define INVERT_E1_DIR true or false
#define TEMP_SENSOR_1
#define INVERT_E1_DIR true
#define DEFAULT_AXIS_STEPS_PER_UNIT { X, Y, Z, E, E1}
#define EXTRUDER_OFFSET_X {0.0, -32.50} // (in mm)
These settings work for the heated ends in both extruders but the second extruder motor does not move it simply jitters whereas the first extruder works perfectly so need some help with making the second extruder motor work.
Hello! I have experience programming in C / C + + for almost 20 years. Devices based on Arduino, I'm doing more than 3 years.
I have experience making "smart house" on the Arduino.
More, I have experience in:
- making hydroponics installations on Arduino
- the control system with LED lights for plants light
- equipment for the reality-show "Treasure Rom"
- Access Control Systems for printing equipment with RFID
I am ready to write a program for Arduino and provide a complete description of the device.
In fact, I need more information about the project ...
