We need a freelancer with IT knowledge to translate text strings of a MS Windows consumer security software product from English into Brazilian Portuguese. Task description: - From English into Brazilian Portuguese - Number of words: approximately 24.000 - Software: [login to view URL] - Windows version - The English text is provided in a txt file. The translated text needs to be typed into the same txt file replacing the English text. - Everything what starts with “IDS_” (e.g. IDS_ACTIVATION_ENTER_CERT) or variables (e.g. <PRODUCT/>) don’t need to be translated. - Don’t use capital letters for titles, functions, etc. - Be careful and avoid double spaces - Don’t translate and keep the original product names (e.g. Steganos Privacy Suite) - We'd recommend you to install the software from [login to view URL] for better understanding the context of the translation - Use Microsoft terminology for translation of common software functions: [login to view URL] - Revise your entire translation for mistakes before submitting Milestones (10 calendar days in total) 1) Deliver sample translation of the first 50 lines within 1 calendar day (0% of budget) 2) Deliver translation after 10 calendar days in total (100% of budget)
