We are a seed company in Germany and need translation of our 280 seed cards (each with approx. 350 words) to English. Cards show in detail all worth knowing about a plant and propagation. The part "worth knowing" is different for most of the cards while other parts are often similar - especially within a certain category like herbs or vegetables). Please check tabs "Wissenswertes" and "Anzucht und Pflege" on detail pages of plants on our webpage www.saflax.de. This text will be shown on the seed cards. We would send a spreadsheet with seperated fields for each header within the text and translation should be made next to the german text. Please find attached a shortened sample of this file and a sample of our seed card for your information.. I would like to start with 5 cards (approx. 1500 words) to get an impression of translation quality. Please send an offer for that order. Complete order of 280 cards has about 90000 words with similarities as described above. What would be your offer for that order? Job could be sent in weekly steps and should be finished within about 6 weeks. We don’t have a certain budget for this order and would appreciate your offer after having checked details of our project. Best regards Frank

Hallo. Ich wuerde mich sehr ueber diesen Auftrag freuen, denn es klingt nach einer sehr interessanten und lehrreichen Arbeit im Bereich der Botanik. Meine Uebersetzungskuenste sind dafuer mehr als ausreichend. Ich habe mich auch auf eurer Homepage umgesehen, um mir ein Bild ueber den Arbeitsumfang zu machen. Ich koennte die gesamte Produktpalette innerhalb von 5-6 Wochen uebersetzen, mit 8-10 Uebersetzungen pro Tag und etwas Zeit zum Korrekturlesen und gegebenenfalls Ueberarbeiten. Ich arbeite sehr gewissenhaft und nutze keine Uebersetzungssoftware oder dergleichen! Da ich Neueinsteiger bin und noch nicht mit guten Referenzen aufwarten kann, waere ich mit 800 USD oder 720 EURO einverstanden und wuerde mich riesig ueber die 6 Wochen Arbeit freuen. Damit ihr euch von der Qualitaet der Uebersetzungen ueberzeugen koennt, wuerde ich 3 Karten kostenfrei uebersetzen, fuer 5 wuerde ich wenigstens 25 USD verlangen. Mit besten Gruessen Stephan
