SHORT VERSION
“We’re looking to add a fast-paced video editor to our team who can take 1 long video and chop it up into 10, 20, or maybe 30 short videos a day.”
DETAILS
You will work with the creative team to edit, repurpose, produce and publish video in multiple lengths and formats for platforms like:
* YouTube
* Facebook
* Instagram
[login to view URL] is a leading brand in the learn-guitar niche. Our goal is to publish 80-100 pieces of content (video, pics, text, gifs, etc) a day and distribute them across all relevant channels.

We also have a strong Facebook presence and we are starting to grow our Instagram page as well.
OUR TERMINOLOGY
We categorize video content in two ways:
* Genesis video: a long-form video (webinar, live performance, 10+ min tutorial) which serves as the original video from which all micro videos are produced
* Micro videos: short videos that are extracted from the Genesis video and published individually on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
OUR VIDEO PRODUCTION PROCESS
* Start with 1 long-form video. Usually 10-90 min.
* Add intro, outro, and call to action
* Create thumbnail
* Work with copywriter to create title, description, links, etc.
* Upload to appropriate channels: YouTube, Facebook, Instagram
* Watch long-form video and decide which parts can be extracted to form new videos.
* Usually, a 1-hour video can produce 10-20 new shorter videos
* Each video is tagged, titled, given a description and uploaded to natively to each platform: YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, etc.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
* Is NOT a perfectionist :-)
* Understands that SPEED of action is most valuable asset. (A video that’s produced badly and uploaded to YouTube today is better than a “perfect” one that never gets uploaded at all!)
* Can watch long videos (1 hr +) and creatively decide which parts can become micro videos.
* Can produce video which meets the requirements of each platform (Facebook, Instagram, YouTube)
* Can reliably produce 10-30 new micro videos per day (M-F)
* Enjoys fast-paced work environment
* Reliable, high-speed internet connection
* Has a positive attitude
* Takes ownership of actions and doesn’t blame people or things
* Works well with our international team members
* Does not complain
* Has a “No excuses ever!” attitude
* Open to learning new ideas, software, processes, etc.
* Has a hunger for doing things better, faster, more efficiently
* Can make suggestions and contribute to overall team strategy of producing lots of content!

Hi, guys, that project description a class act, simply covers everything, a bit perfect.
First of all I love tog get my job done, I firmly believe i meet all your requirements.
My completed projects include, small social media videos, application explainer, interview type videos and pretty much anything that comes up on freelancer in terms of video services.
Last two years i worked on a reality tv show here in Bulgaria "The Farm" 12+ hour night shifts, 6 days a week. My position was sort of the main staff cutter, worked on basically all the hard stuff and did more than a great job, for this august when is the next season i have a position offered with much higher payment, but i plan to refuse, since i prefer working from my own office.
My equipment is solid, 8 core cpu 24gigs of ram and and a stable video card, not the high end, but you'd be suprised of the performance, my internet connection is currently pretty good 150mbit, am expecting to be switched on 300mbits optics soon as well.
Hope my resume is not too long, but i really like the offering and would like to get a shot to work with you guys, i can see from your post that you guys mean business and payment will be nice.

I have been working as a news and multimedia producer for a local TV news channel in my Home City Nogales, Mexico for the last 5 years, I can edit quickly and a I deliver quality.
I can be creative and fast at the same time, adding graphics, movement and all that is needed to have a nice and professional looking video.
When it comes to the requirements I can say this:
I understand that speed is a valuable asset, thats something I learned editing news videos, you have to do it quick otherwise it wont be news anymore.
I watch hours of footage everyday and I know wich pieces to choose and edit, I even write news notes something I learned from experience.
Creating 10-30 videos everyday is not a problem to me and neither will it be uploading any content since I have a reliable internet connection.
I will never blame anyone but myself for any mistake, im used to being always on a rush, I never complain about hard work and there is nothing I cannot edit.

I'm a video editor, i work with Sony Vegas which means all requirements are done,produce in any quality,any length and everything
I have an EliteBook Workstation,which means SPEED should be great when producing & uploading.
Also these days i have moved to Sweden,to contribute for a local company ,because i was a successful freelancer according to them,so they gave me chance to come and work here. I work here 50% of the time, not full
and the good thing is that you work on CST, which means totally good to fit in between.
But anyway, i'm full time freelancer,since the work i do here is almost all day home.
The only thing i'm a bit afraid, for which for sure you are going to help me is deciding to cut parts on my own. So on the beginning i need to be on ur head asking for everything, but then too...it should be really perfect.
