eCommerce User Interface Improvements

We are looking for a talented web developer/designer who has knowledge developing the back end and the front end of ecommerce sites. If you are this person, we need you to make our ecommerce website more elegant and user-friendly. Our web application is written in Java and the front stack uses HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, etc. The site is running on Tomcat. The project consists of the following milestones that will need to be successfully completed by Friday, 1/29/2015. 1) Upgrade jQuery v1.3.2 to v1.11.3 and jqGrid from v3.5.3 to v4.4.3 2) Make the login page including the sign in form look nicer and modern 3) The site currently has a "Ship Method" selector, which is located between two navigation menus - top and bottom. You will remove the bottom menu, and then rearrange the top menu. Also, you will move the child pages under the parent pages. For example: Product A - Product A Category 1 - Product a Category 2 - etc 4) Move the "Ship Method" selector from the current location to the checkout page 5) Change the background color to a CSS3 gradient background to match the logo background colors, and change the menu color to a color that will blend nicely with the background color 6) Move a search bar to the right side above the menu and put this text inside the bar "Enter keyword, product, grower, or item number." 7) Move a shopping cart icon to the right side of the search bar. This can be done once the search bar is moved. 8) Add a cart sorting (Sort by) option so that users can sorts products by price such as Price: High to Low, Price: Low to High 9) Change the current method of adding items to the cart with an option that will allow users to type in a quantity before clicking on the Add to Cart button 10) Convert uppercase letters to lowercase letters If you are awarded this project, you will be asked to sign a NDA.
