HTML Updating - hourly rate

Do you enjoy working with HTML, CSS, web design, SEO? I have an existing web site that includes several hundred html pages that are continuously in need of updating or revising. Yes, there are many simple tasks, easily done by someone that doesn’t have a detailed and advanced knowledge of HTML, while there are other tasks that become quite complex and involve a more detailed knowledge of HTML. I am looking for a freelancer to work approximately 10 hours per week on an ongoing basis to provide these updates, to correct errors, to convert to a responsive, mobile friendly format. The freelancer should be able to work independently, a motivated self-starter. Someone that can look, see what needs to be done and “do it”. I strive for a new fresh look and appearance on the site (by changing formats/templates, layout, images, colors) about once a year. I am long overdue on this update! Most, if not all of the content remains the same, unchanged. You will not be required to write content, only to update its appearance, functionality and operability (user friendly). Freelancer will be required to correct errors or problems detected by Google and/or Bing Web master tools. Responsible for updating site map xml files for submission to search engines. Depending on your skill and comfort levels, there is always plenty of work to do on this site and several others I host. The sites are operated on our own dedicated servers and integrate with Joomla applications as well as other sites. This project can be a great opportunity for me to get some work done, and for you to really learn and develop your skills as you earn! To bid this project, you are bidding on an hourly rate… the initial project will be awarded for ten (10) hours of labor/work. This ten hours will give me a chance to see what you can do, the quality and efficiency of your work and it will give you a chance to see who you are working with, my expectations and demands. If at the end of the ten hours we are both happy, we can continue this project indefinitely. Please… you must: Be serious about wanting to work Have your own computer with a reliable internet connection Be able to commit to at least ten (10) hours of work per week Be ready to start working soon! (within a few days at most) Be able to communicate with me in English, by either Skype, Yahoo Messenger or e-mail during the hours of 0800-2300 US Eastern time Your previous feedback will be considered, but no, I don’t require you to have previous feedback. We all have to start somewhere! I don’t want miracles, but I do expect an honest effort! In return, you should expect reasonable demands and to be paid fairly. I do have a budget to consider and while your skills may be worth it, I am sorry, it is not in the budget to even consider bids of $10, $20 or more per hour, so please don’t waste either of our time bidding those types of costs. The Freelancer that wins this project will be one with a bid of $1 - $5 per hour. I’m sorry, it’s mostly entry level work, I simply can’t afford to pay more.
