WINDOWS 2003 SBS EXCHANGE CONFIG

Windows server 2003 SBS (new installation)

had same server with 3 desktop environment and the server crashed due to bad HDD

we were able to recover data

now we have bought new HDDs and reinstalled windows server 2003

earlier our email was hosted locally with exchage 2003

currently our email is hosted outside

desktop are windows 7 professional

there are 2 other servers with windows 2000 server in the environment but they are not doing anything

except serving files

one windows 2000 server has SQL 7 which is connected to a windows xp computer with database access for a management / accounting software

there is one network printer with scanner in the environment

suggest best environment practice

configure server and exchange 2003

configure remote access

configure desktops so the users can access their current profiles and files and emails

users must be able to access the files and emails in the ost and pst files

there may be other issues that need to be resolved

an hourly quote will be best
