Drupal/SQL/Perl Developer [Engineer]

I am a Computer Systems Engineer (Universidad de Los Andes VE) with custom web developer experence (more than five years in Drupal). I also have experience in programming (more than 10 years in implementing specialized algorithms) and creating custom SQL queries. More recently I have worked with the extraction of data to import them into applications such as Drupal 7x or DSpace using scripts in Perl/Bash/PHP. I can help you in the tasks of your project, if you need: ✓ Development of custom modules in Drupal 7x: such as integration with the API of other web services (Eg: XML queries sent through HTTP and POST methods) or specialized features in forms and dynamic pages with SQL queries. ✓ Specific queries in SQL databases (Example: PostgreSQL, MySQL, and others). ✓ Process text files to extract data (Example: Using regular expressions). ✓ Import content in applications such as Drupal 7x or DSpace 6x. ✓ Fix errors in Drupal 7x modules or in SQL queries.

The project manager wanted to integrate a Drupal 7x website with a web service that search availability and make reservation of flights through an API with XML queries sent through HTTP and POST methods

I developed some modules in Drupal 7x that implemented the multistep process to check availability and prices of flights, book and pay for the selected flight, as well as consult previous flight reservations

My boss had data trace in large text files, and he wanted to obtain only certain specific data, then graph this data to facilitate the analysis of them

I created some scripts that processed the files and extracted only the data of interest. These data I entered in a database and then I consulted them to show them in graphics.

The web system consisted in the registry of works and their financial and physical monitoring. User groups were managed with workflows and statuses.

In this project I am part of the team initially as a system analyst and data structure designer. Later participate in the development of some modules of the system, such as the reports module.
