## BIO References from Pfizer, Summit Technologies, and/or American Consulting Group supplied upon request. Development Experience: O DONOVAN GROUP, LLC - (Software Development) The assignment for Pfizer Pharmaceutical involved the modification and revision of their NorthStar statistical analysis application. The work included the creation of userforms and worksheets to implement a Bayesian inference performed via Monte Carlo simulation for clinical analysis. The Gibbs and Monaco algorithms were used. The work was done in EXCEL using VBA. The modifications included a fix for the row limitations of EXCEL, since we needed to run 750,000 iterations of the Monaco algorithm, and a user interface that allowed verification of input and validated the input. Additional modifications were to add automated reporting systems and routines to increase the speed of the application. These results were to be incorporated into Pfizers Informatica system for management reporting SUMMIT TECHNOLOGIES INC. - (Software and Web Development) The assignment was to architect an application that would scan data and statistics on documents being enveloped on a mailing production line (such as checks) and storing this data in a SQL 2000 or Oracle 8i database. Then providing the end users the ability to run queries and create reports locally or remotely using internet connectivity. Crystal Reports 8.5 and ASP 3.0, was employed for this functionality. The main application for this project was called DataPoster, It consisted of a multithreaded Active-X executable, with two Active-X dlls. One dll to handle multiple COM or Ethernet connections to the Dataposter app., and the other to post data, to the database, from multiple data collecting connections to the DataPoster. The main application was written in VB 6.0. The second application was called DataViewer, which was an ASP app. with Crystal Reports as described above, other technologies used were Front Page, Java and VB script, UML, XML, Explorer 5.5/sp2 and Visual Interdev. AMERICAN CONSULTING GROUP - (Embedded Software Development) The assignment encompassed the development of a system of conduits to enable LINCOLN FINANCIAL GROUP to synchronize data records on their PALM PILOT handheld computers with their network SYBASE database. The project required development of Active-X and COM components, that were snapins for their management information application, and development of the conduit DLLs which actually implemented the synchronization process. Creating the required tables, keys, indexs, stored procedures and triggers necessary for proper database integrity. The repackaging and deployment of the application. All of the development work was done in Visual C++ utilizing MFC, ATL, COM, and the final ANSI/ISO C++ standard. Development within the PALM PILOT included the use of CODE WARRIOR for the application, the PALM utility for debugging conduits, POSE emulator for testing the application on the PALM; also some utilization of GNU tools(on UNIX platforms) to create a binary image for loading the ROM on the PALM. Some assembler programming was also required. TCA CONSULTING GROUP - (System and Software Development) My responsibilities were to lead a group of ten people in the conversion, development and integration of software and system components to seamlessly connect and replicate a SQL Server 7.0 Citrix application, with a mainframe DB2/MVS back end which would be transparent to the VB 6.0 front end. The task included the creation of a DB2 database, (ETL) of data from SQL server, and the utilization of system components such as DDCS, DRDA, DB2 Connect, RACF, and SAA. Software employed were C++ (active-X DLL components and business objects for communication with DB2) and VB 6.0 to integrate the active-X into the application. This was a system for the CHUBB Insurance Group. (Data Warehousing) Technical responsibilities at Middlesex Mutual Insurance Co. included the specification , implementation, and administration of data architecture, data devices, database and security management, disaster recovery, large volume data imports from Main Frame(utilizing FTP and BCP), table and index creation, also stored procedures and triggers in a SQL Server 6.5 / Windows NT environment for a data warehouse project, also application programming in Visual Basic 6.0, including creation of middle tier business objects and algorithms for actuarial calculations in a multi-tiered system. Reports were implemented using Cognos and Crystal reports. The use of Informatica’s PowerCenter and PowerMart software tools to (ETL) extract, transform, and load data from the transaction system to the Warehouse and Data Marts. AMERICAN CONSULTING GROUP - (System Test Engineering) As Project Manager for test engineering in Pitney Bowes Virtual Meter project, first I specified and set-up a scalable test facility with deployable units, consisting of DELL CLUSTERING with SERVERS and RAIDS. I established the overall test strategies and requirements, per marketing and design specifications. I supervised a group of 15 test and development engineers in the usage of automated test tools and the developing of specialized test tools, simulators, and web applications. The project encompassed testing of an online multi-tiered system. Features included were IIS, ASP, MTS(DCOM), SQL SERVER and ORACLE databases, HTML, JAVA, C++, and VB. Testing metrics covered unit, integration, system, and FIPS(FEDERAL) approval for encrypted security; with the tracking and reporting of defects and versioning. The automated test and development tools I used at Pitney Bowes was the RATIONAL SUITE which included the ROSE, CLEAR QUEST, ADMINISTRATOR, ROBOT, LOAD TEST, etc. Education: QUINNIPIAC COLLEGE HAMDEN, CT [login to view URL]., Computer Science and Mathematics ## Area of Expertise Frost Systems specialties are: A. CLIENT/SERVER DEVELOPMENT: C++, and VISUAL BASIC with associated technologies such as ACTIVE-X, COM, DCOM, MFC, MTS, etc. B. WEB DEVELOPMENT: ASP, FRONT PAGE, HTML, IIS, VISUAL INTERDEV, etc. C. DATABASE DEVELOPMENT: ACCESS, EXCEL, SQL Server, SYBASE, DATA WAREHOUSING and MARTS, and ORACLE.
