They say a combination of technical forte and managerial skills is the key to reach the pinnacle of your career, and I couldn’t agree more. Excellent technical skills are required to perform technical tasks and reach the organizational hierarchy; managerial skills are a must!
The roots to taking up leading roles in my career were developed during my academics. As a student, I used to work on developing projects that allowed me to put my theoretical knowledge into practice by trying my hands on the latest technical software and tools and delegating work to my team members as a leader, allowed me to explore my professional side as a beginner. As a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineer, I have understood the designing and manufacturing process for machines. I have worked on projects and attended seminars that have helped me learn about 3D designs, Fluid Mechanics, and Controls Systems to the core. Through my internship, I became proficient in operating CNC and VMC machines. I achieved proficiency in AutoCAD by attending a certificate course on the same. I tried my hands at interface, drawing aids & basic objects, complex objects, object editing and 3D modules. Participating in Anantyam, 2017, in the Autobots competition further helped me hone my technical efficiency. I had secured the first rank in this competition. Working on developing Aquatic Remotely Operated Rover allowed me to try my hands at developing robots connected by a series of wires that send signals between and operator and the AROR. I scored an 8.85 CGPA in Mechanical Engineering studies.
Now that I navigate my growth opportunities to utilize my full potential and take up more challenging roles as a Strategic decision-maker, I feel the need to update my skills in my field to expand my career horizons. Having proven my technical skills, I aim to implement managerial skills and lead a team of technical experts to bring out positive changes in society.
