Carry out all operations and development functions; create state-of-the-art deliverable systems. Selected engagements:
* **Created an Internal Enterprise Monitoring Portal.** Allowed a large insurance company to monitor over 18,000 Network Devices/Servers around the world, tracking and gleaning data from a multitude of Monitoring Systems Software in real-time for a centralized presentation available 7X24. Device Operating systems included Windows, Linux, Red Hat, and AIX. Presentation focused on Device Availability and Application Server Resource Utilization. SSIS, SSRS, SSAS, C#, IIS 7.5 and SQL Server 2008 R2 used to create, maintain and expand the Web Portal as necessary. Central Monitoring database designed and built from various streams of available data.
* **Created an Insurance Policy Settlement Brokerage System.**Allows life insurance policies to be auctioned to bidders such as hedge funds, banks and other insurers. Life expectancy, policy details, face value, and other attributes are combined with complex statistical models to determine actual values. Security and privacy are key requirements, as is compliance with relevant state and federal regulations and online policy availability. Entire application is data/user-driven via SQL Server 2008 and IIS 7.5.
* **Created a virtual meeting place and information exchange used by volunteers located throughout the United States by developing a Web 2.0 Social Network.** Users can locate volunteer opportunities, share documents, receive news feeds and analyses, and contact each other by e-mail. The site was data/user-driven by a custom-designed DB in SQL Server 2005.
* **Developed specialized billing components and provided taxation expertise for a Top-Tier Billing System provider and its largest telecom customers.**Customers include Microsoft Windows Live and Chicago's O'Hare International Airport, Premiere Global Services and InterCall. The solutions provided handle customized taxation processes, wholesaler activity, e-bill creation and other customized protocols and products for various clients.
