In all the years I've been working with freelancers, often times it's hit or miss. Whether that be due to communication problems, language barriers, lack of experience or poor diligence. BUT... then there are times when you get a chance to work with a true professional. And that's what John is. From the initial assessment on the project he provided, the prompt and clear communication throughout the process, and the timely turnaround of the final product all made working with him an awesome experience. His troubleshooting and problem solving skills are top notch and it's clear the man is an independent thinker. No need to dictate every step in a task to him and when he did encounter a problem, he communicated to me not only what the issue was - but came with a reasonable & applicable solution as well. Excellent code quality and he did an amazing job keeping our version control history well organized and without us even asking, maintained our workflow formatting/style methodology - which, is a constant problem when working with other freelancers . Bottom line, this guy is the real deal & I'm looking forward to working more with him in the future.
