This is just a post from a philosophy discussion forum. It is rather technical and jargon-filled, but it is short and conveys various elements of my writing style when dealing with such a technical subject matter. I realize that this is not the most easily approachable writing sample, and it is by no means representative of my writing more generally, but I want to show something of my academic writing abilities.

I am from California, but I currently live in Scotland. I have two degrees and extensive knowledge in a wide range of subjects. My main writing experience is academic, but I have also done some creative writing. I would like to do journalistic writing.
