Experience:
April 1992-August 1993, Society of Exploration Geophysicists: (Programmer)
In this position I was responsible for maintaining several large Clipper programs which were used to maintain membership data. I also designed and wrote a 16-station registration system, which allowed them to do their own registration at their annual convention.
October 1993 - January 1994, Ralph Wolf Inc. (Contract Programmer)
During this time I fulfilled a contract with Tech data, Inc.I wrote several Clipper/VB programs that read in EDI data and uploaded the data to a SQL Server. Also created an Auto Fax system, which took P. O. data and formatted a file to be downloaded to a fax server. After 6 months I became User coordinator for the micro side of a two-year conversion. I was 'point' person for all the micro applications as well as the person responsible for coordinating activity between the head users and the programmers.
March 1995 - January 1996, Accounting Personnel (Contract Programmer)
During this time I fulfilled a contract for TGI Inc. We developed software for the Air force Reserve. I wrote several VB applications including one that read longitude and latitude data from a database and positioned a graphic for that type of asset on a bitmap of the proper region using a conversion formula I developed myself.
March 1996 - August 1996, Accounting Personnel (Contract Programmer)
Fulfilled a contract with American Airlines in Tulsa. I did maintenance work on their parts scheduling system.
January 1997 - August - 1997, MIS personnel (Contract Programmer)
Fulfilled a contract with Associated Systems, Inc. I was responsible for doing maintenance and support for a large Clipper program used by Third Party Administrators. This program tracked membership and benefits and adjudicated the claims once they were entered.

During this time I did maintenance work on an office management system (Visual Basic) for doctors. I also created an Electronic Claims system which had it's own modem script language and a database-driver data extraction tool.
February 2000 - Present (Contract Programmer)
During this time I worked as lead programmer, again for Associated Systems, converting their DOS Clipper system to VB/SQL. I was responsible for designing/normalizing the database and converting approximately one hundred thousand lines of Clipper code to VB/SQL. To date they have acquired many new Windows clients, virtually saving their business. I also developed an InstallShield deployment package for the product, an IVR system for verifying benefits and eligibility, a website for entering enrollment via the Internet and setup QA software for regression testing.
Development Environments Experienced with:
Visual Basic (All Versions), SQL Server Tools, Visual InterDev, Active Call Center, Compuware QA Suite, SourceSafe, InstallShield, MSDN
Languages Experienced with:
Visual Basic, SQL, HTML, DHTML, VBScript, JavaScript
Additional Accomplishments
I recently finished my third-generation home automation software. The interface is a VB application with interfaces for Video, Audio, Digital devices and X10 modules. The sensors and digital devices can be controlled with either a serial DAQ or a 16-bit digital I/O board. Video capture can be accomplished with a custom capture window I wrote in Visual C++(for USB cameras) or using a custom control and a Winnov 4-port video board. I also developed a surveillance package with built in motion detection that uses the pixel data for each frame to determine when there is motion. I have developed my own website with E-Commerce and am well on my way to mastering Java Script, VB Script, HTML, DHTML and Asp's using a SQL/Access back-end. Currently I am working on converting my home automation software to VB.Net.
