Developed C# components to talk with the Livelink API, written in C; to be able to store data and documents on Livelinks using a VB.net front end previously developed in earlier contract. Daily Duties: Testing applications, modification and rollout of new versions of software and working directly with end users to resolve issues. Design, development and support in Microsoft .Net and Visual Studio 6.0, including VB, VB.Net, C#, ASP, ASP.Net, XML, Javascript and SQL Server 2000. Created multiple websites to be used by internal and external clients. Created DTS packages to import files using VB programs to perform automated tasks run by the SQL Server scheduler. Used Asp.net to create an internal employee registration website. Developed C# programs to move files across different file servers. Modifying Crystal Reports through VB 5. VB 5 database development with DAO, RDO and linking to ODBC data source. Access OLE Automation and DAO. Daily duties: Defect corrections, gathering requirements for VB 5 of existing Pick applications. Development, design and conversion of Pick into Access databases with DAO or RDO wrappers.
