Mixed-use building and Bus Station

The new bus station is set up into a wider masterplan that redesigns the whole railway park. Since the new setting of the area has been thought as totally pedestrian, the bus station is developed on pilotis, in order to allow people to see beyond it and walk through it. The internals are designed to be open: the only limited spaces concern shops, offices and conference rooms. So, the whole building is walkable along its entire length crossing some height compressions and enlargements. The light comes into the building through three large skylights and the double-skin façade, which is designed with a variable succession of solids and voids. At its bottom, it folds and marks a protected path next to the main dimension of the building. This project had been developed by a group of four students: R. Calandrino, F. D’Onofrio, L. Meloni, and G. Pontis.

Note: sadly it is not possible to reply to any feedback, which would be great, especially when an employer hires you for a proofreading job. But then that job is actually a translation from Google Translate, which takes ways more time than a simple proofreading (not to mention the payment), and the employer complains about deliverying late... Well, there is not much you can do about it. My skills and experience are architecture/design oriented, also good in analysing and organising data; this led me to develop a great workload management. I offer commitment, comply with deadlines, precision in work, and last but not least, honesty.
