I'm an academic by trade, entering into an English PhD program this fall, but my background outside of academics is in creative writing, ghost writing, editor, proofing, and magazine work. I have both my B.A. and M.A. in English, I am the managing editor, copyeditor, proof reader, and writer for [login to view URL], Pomona Valley Review, and The Socialist. I also work with students on their writing samples for academic programs. I have been published as a poet, as a ghost writer (for one teen romance novel, one cookbook, and one high fantasy novel), as an academic, and as a reporter. I'm a diverse writer, editor, copy editor, and proof reader.
