Food import and export to/from Singapore, Sydney and Asean region. With operations in Singapore, Bangkok, Sydney (and originally Young in NSW) as Project Director, Sponsor, Brand Manager, Territory Manager (Asia Pacific FMCG / Modern Trade) & National Business Manager-Coles & Metcash/IGA, I led development of SME FMCG import export business to a much larger, commercially oriented cross-border export focused business. • Expanded distribution arrangements as National Business Manager-Coles from 80 stores to 460 stores. * Managed ongoing sales and business development with some 200+ Metcash/IGA stores in NSW & ACT. • Expanded distributions covering overseas jurisdictions, exporting from Australia to Thailand, Singapore, Brunei, Bali, PNG, Hong Kong, mainland China, Taiwan, the Maldives, Fiji, and Malaysia. • New product development – introduced brand extensions to maximize the company’s investment in supply chain and distribution. • Added new brands in related product categories to meet the needs of particularly foodservice clientele. • Led and managed re-packaging/range simplifications projects. • Re-branding/re-positioning “mum and dad” business to cross-border modern and relevant branding. • Secured food import licenses in Thailand and Singapore for purchase, import and distribution business. • I acted with local staff as Regional Brand Manager & Territory Manage with responsibility for channel sales to key clients: • NTUC – Singapore • Cold Storage & Giant – Malaysia • Central Retail – Thailand • Wellcome – Hong Kong • Key foodservice groups – Thai Airways, Dnata Singapore, Cathay Pacific Catering and others. • Secured Indonesia JV for food import to Indonesia & Philippines for purchase, import and distribution business.

Achievements: • Stage 1 o Consolidation, initial funding and securing options and contracts over 13 properties into a contiguous 2,500ha multi-purpose industrial, airport and residential precinct. o Planning approvals (Parkes Airport and environs Project), increased “on paper” land value from approx. $8million to $82million supported by Ernst & Young the project advisors. o Secured EOI’s/LOI’s for uptake (lease agreements) over 1100ha (approx.) involving industrial park, airport and potential residential usage. o Effectively engaged, consulted and presented with public stakeholders including towns-folk, community and business leaders, Deputy Prime Minister, Cabinet Ministers/key political advisors, Premier/key political advisors, Mayors and civic leaders, etc. • Established PTLC and other companies, partnered with Ernst & Young on future total fund raising planned involving $32million during Round Two and $43million during Round Three.
