Computer programming assignment (writing a report plus coding)

Hi, i am interested in taking up this project. i am quite proficient in python. i do have a few questions. there are two options for this project, and i will be able to make a better phonebook than the game. but the game can be made easily as well. what would you prefer? also if i have to right the report i will need the format specification for it. any platform specification? i know eclipse but which OS? 32/64 bit? kindly contact me to discuss further details. I will provide documented C++ code and build and run instructions. I plan to implement a simple game where the player moves around and collects bonus randomly appearing. I will use C++ and Qt framework to build a GUI application and write the report in 2 days, assuming that i get the template for the report. Questions: - Is the owner supposed to compile the code? If yes, they might need to install Qt SDK in order to do so. - For what platform (Linux, Windows,.. ) shall this be done?
