I am looking for someone that has a lot of experience in C/C++ and linux. I need this person to examine existing code of another open source project, and use the SDK from a hardware supplier, and make this hardware work with the existing open source code. This open source code already uses some of the hardware from the supplier, we just need to add some options. The hardware supplier is from BlackMagic, they have a full SDK available. The software is just an encoder that will take the raw data from the source hardware and then encode it into broadcast format. Preferably that you have experience with the BlackMagic SDK. I have asked the developer of this open source application to do it, but he does not have the resources to allocate to me. He even said that it would only take him an hour to do the work. Even if you take 1 hour or 10 hours, thats fine. I will provide you test server to work on. Therefore, I am looking for someone to take on this task. Learn the code and the requirements, and build into the application what I need. Once this is completed, and working, then I will have more work and tasks for you. I am ready to go now. If you can complete this by this weekend, I will include a bonus of 20%. Please dont waste my time with bogus quotes. I will mark them as SPAM right away. About me: I'm a recent university graduate with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science. I'm a native English speaker with excellent communication skills. Hello I have extensive experience on C/C++ and I have delivered several projects on C/C++ to very demanding customers in Japan mostly on Linux and two on WinCE. I understand that the developer of this application can do this taks in 1 hour. Reason being that he already kniw the existing source code and design. If we will understand the design and source code then I would might take lest than a hour to do work. Yes, I am new to freelancer application but I have enough experience in c/c++ on unix platform.
