I have a VC6 project that I just upgraded to Visual Studio 2013. This project is unmanaged and needs to stay that way. It is the driving force to all of my applications. The program is a port daemon that fires off an application based on port numbers. This application is very small only one file. I need a GUI interface to this command line program. I need a way to monitor the sockets that are connect. I am open to suggestions. I want to be able to terminate them based on the connection and the port it is connected to. This daemon serves many port number up to 30. So I need a way to just look based on the port. I am not including the sources until I make a decision on what freelancer. Thanks and good luck bidding.

I am maoo92 friend. We' want to work together on this project, but we'll be using this account. Hope that's not a problem. The basic idea is to make the various instances of the program to communicate with another program (the interface) in a master-slave way. For that we'll be using windows's msmq. We assume that you need this application to run on windows, however, if you want it working on other operating systems , we can do it as well. More details about it on chat.

I am a professional C/C++ programmer What i got from your description that you cmd app starts program based on which port has been connected. For example if a connection received on port 3333, it will fire test.exe. i suggest inserting the code o code of the gui or make a communication path between the GUI and the cmd app. I would be glade if we discussed this in PM Thanks in advance

Hello, So you have a command line application that uses sockets. And sometimes it gets conflict that same sockets being used by some other process. You want a gui to manage it.
