Dear Sir/Madame
I have recently graduated from the University of Technology, Brno, Czech Rep, faculty of Mechanical Power Engineering (Hydraulic - Fluid Engineering), and the above position will allow me to contribute my knowledge and skills to further benefit your organisation and my career.
I have over five years of experience with CAD and CAM systems (Autocad, SolidWorks, Catia V5) including reading technical drawings which forms an important part of my work experience. I have also been trained in mathematical CFD modelling of flowing liquids and gases, both theoretically and practically, using the program Fluent.
I worked as a CNC program engineer of lathes, cutters and drills used to produce hydraulic armatures. At the same time I worked as a service man on assembly lines and technical machinery for a production of cast wheels. Later, at university, I was offered a job in an architect studio, where I worked with plans, building models and later also interiors. My last full-time job was attending and servicing of hardening furnaces at Bodycote Company in Brno.
During my studies I was involved in the construction of pumping devices and tubular and water system turbines, both from the theoretical side, making CFD models, and the practical side, while servicing real machines. My bachelor‘s thesis was based on the topic of Tubular distribution in domestic gardens specialised in domestic plant sewage and my degree in general enabled me to aquire the necessary knowledge and skills which enable me to work with hydraulic instruments to full extent. The research for my master‘s thesis was based on the self-priming pump. I was constructively improving the self-priming effects of the pump during the two-phased air-water flow. I would like to continue working in this field, either in it‘s developing, constructing or practical section.
My native language is Czech and I speak Slovak and Polish fluently. I can also communicate fluently in English and German.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully,
Ing. Jan Kusy
