create codes/plugins using java (Jedit) and run it in ImageJ

establish an image processing problem that interested in and write on our own ..or adapt an existing, ImageJ plug-in that addresses the issue. Using Jedit: create simple plugin or adapt an existing one (example of plugin are shown down below or attached) to analyze brain tumors by first searching online for a single image which shows a Magnetic resonance image of brain with tumor or use one of the images attached with this project.. it is IMPORTANT that the image is compatible with ImageJ. after selecting an image start writing a plugin that does the following: 1) Creates a user-interface (GUI) that asked the person to select an image to load 2) Loads and displays the image 3) Asks the user to set a threshold that will be used to identify the tumor 4) The plugin then creates a second image that highlights the tumor based on the threshold. (This is usually referred to as a "mask".) This would be the beginning of a plugin that could be made more sophisticated with additional work (based on the examples posted below or attached) but keep it simple and at a beginners level. 5) then write 4 - 6 pages , describing the nature of problem and the steps needed to create these codes or plugins. screenshots of the work and the code should be included at the end as appendix and the code saved as java file so i can edit or if i want to do changes
