Hi, I'd love to help with your project! I have designed and built a wristwatch that uses GPS and compass to point a 'compass needle' on a screen at selected waypoints. I have a lot of experience with various actuators and encoders. An autonomous vehicle using linear actuators, does it have legs? Greetings, I think I can help you here. Please see my portfolio (specifically the videos on robotic platform and quadcopter) - that would show you my experience with autonomous platforms. In fact currently I am building another platform which is app controlled - should be ready in a couple of days. In short - I can help. However due to the nature of the project - I think the most important thing is the FL you hire should stick with you till the end till you get what you want from the project. I worked an autonomous rover back cansat for an international competition called ARLISS. we built an autonomous rover. including : pcb with two SMD atmega micro-controllers , gps , gyroscope, pressure sensor, SD card module, rf module. a motor driver ( H-bridge ) to drive the motors. arduino platform was used to program and implement the control algorithm. the used control algorithm is pid controller to get to the goal point. the details of the project can be discussed later, looking forward to hear from you.
