I have created the tables in an access database for a four wheel drive club.?
I just need help with creating the forms so that I get the main form with sub forms for entering the membership details etc.
There may need to be some additional key fields added to complete this.
## Deliverables
please see attached drawing, I'm not much good at drawing :-) and some more comments to further explain the SB the MEMBERSHIPS table holds the information for each membership, this could be a family or single membership. the MEMBERS table has the data for each member. e.g. a family membership could have 4 people. it was really normalisation of the structure that created the 2 tables. each of the 4 members lives at the same address, has the same home phone number etc. there is a field MEM_TYPE in MEMBERSHIPS to indicate if it is a family or single membership. So, each MEMBERSHIP may have one or more MEMBERS. (if it's a single then there will only be one member) Each MEMBERSHIP will have one or more VEHICLES. Each MEMBERSHIP will have a MEM_CARD associated with it and over time there will be multiple MEM_CARDS for each membership as they expire. Each MEMBERSHIP will have multiple payments as each year they renew their membership and make a payment. the database is for internal use not for the general members. it is for the membership officer to use to keep track of things. I was imagining that there would be a screen and on the top half would be the MEMBERSHIP information and then the bottom half would be tabbed sections for MEMBERS, MEM_CARDS, PAYMENTS and VEHICLES. Each of the tabbed sections would then display the information associated with the MEMBERSHIP. the data for MEM_CARDS and PAYMENTS could be a simple grid view so all the records can be seen at once. MEMBERS and VEHICLES would probably be fields laid out neatly with arrows to scroll through them. the search box at the top of the screen would search on first names and surnames as a quick way to pull up someone's details. This would have to search through the MEMBERS table, so not sure if that is easy to do or not? maybe just search on the primary member for the MEMBERSHIP? This project is to complete the forms in MS Access NOT a web interface or any other platform. Please indicate in your proposal that you understand this! thanks Nathan
