I am looking for someone to prepare a Boat Outboard Engine troubleshooting guide that will help people get their outboard engine back up and running if it won't start or stops when someone if out on the water.
I need someone whom is experienced in outboard engine repair / maintenance and has the ability to pull together loads of information from the various sources available online to put together a full step by step guide to help people get that engine started again.
The guide should work for both 2 and 4 stroke engines, pull and electric start, and be generic enough to work on all/most brands, but also be specific enough to have details to explain how to perform the checks that will need to be conducted to help identify the problem with the engine.
The guide must be a step by step guide with a layout something like this:
Step 1: Check...... and if.... goto Step 2 if ..... got Step 5.
Step 2: Check........ and if...... goto Step........ if ...... goto ........
Step 3: Ensure the kill switch if turned on (this may be in the form of a lanyard attached directly to the tiller steering mechanism on smaller outboard engines, or a full battery isolation on off switch on larger boats.
Step 4: If your Engine is a pull start, is the engine firing when the cord is pulled? If Yes goto Step 5, if no proceed to Step 10.
ETC ETC ETC.....
I have attached some basic information that I have found online - these are very simple compared to what I have looking for, I am expecting the guide that I would like written to have 100-200 steps.
Please let me know your total price to write a guide for me including your relevant experience that would show me that you are the right person for the job.
I am 4th year student of Mechanical engineering.... I completely understand all your requirements and desires about the guide.... Please refer to my PM
