I have 20+ years experience with Excel, including developing complex interrelated sets of workbooks, with substantial automation. Also I have been a professional MS Access developer for 3 years now. From the sounds of your project, we should be able to develop an automated upload protocol for your source files. If this is a one-time project (ie you build your master file, then maintain data directly in that rather than periodically doing a mass upload), I would use an Access database as an interim tool to aggregate, sort and ultimately output your masterfile into an Excel format. If this is meant to be an ongoing operational app, we should discuss best approaches.
