The photo website (presently HTML) will be completely rewritten for .Net/SQL Server on Windows 2003: news from database, contact forms and so forth.
The photo galleries (this project) are to be in Flash ([login to view URL]).
The photo gallery should present a thumbnail page plus the ability to click on a thumbnail for full page photo & navigation buttons (forward, backward, Index).
The photo gallery index + photo pages should autoresize gracefully according to the user's screen size / size of browser, with a bias for 4/3 screen aspect ratio.
See [login to view URL] to see what I want to get (but only galleries, menus & contact & so forth will be done with .NET). Another difference is that a photo caption will be positioned under the photo (e.g. 'Lucy in Chanel Clothes').
The files will be saved on the web server. Thumbnail file names = 'T' + photofilename (e.g. [login to view URL] for [login to view URL]).
Ideally, the gallery will be linked from the main site as follow: [login to view URL]
The file information are saved on an MS SQL Server database & [login to view URL] should access this database (see attachment) to autogenerate the gallery (through ODBC?).
Base Directory for photos is /Photos/.
e.g. for a photo as follow in the database:
PhotoDirectory=Nudes
PhotoFileName=[login to view URL]
the full path will be [login to view URL] and [login to view URL]
