Book Ghost Writer / Book Rewriter Needed

We are looking for a high quality writer to re-write a 145-page book, ‘From Compliance to Competitive Advantage’ on corporate governance. The purpose of re-writing the existing book (which we produced in 2005) is to combine the key existing concepts with new information and case studies to reflect the current state and future direction of governance in corporate Australia. The end product will be a completely new publication – not an updated edition of the existing book. The successful writer will ideally have a background in business management or leadership, preferably with some interest and experience in area of corporate governance. They will have excellent writing skills and be able to produce a piece that is conversational in style while retaining academic credibility. (We will require a sample of each applicants work to ensure appropriateness of writing style). The successful applicant will also be willing to work with us to re-draft and refine the document as needed. We will provide both the existing edition of the book and a 17-page outline of new themes, information and concepts to be incorporated. The successful writer will also need to conduct some general research in the area of corporate governance to ensure that the concepts and language in the new book reflect current trends. We would need a first draft of the first chapter by no later than Sunday 31st January, and a first draft of the rest of the book by Sunday 14th February. If the first chapter does not meet with our expectations and it seems unlikely that the chosen applicant will be able to complete the project as needed, we may decide to make a partial payment for the first chapter only and conclude the writer’s contribution to the project. However, it’s certainly our hope and expectation that the successful candidate will complete the project in its entirety. Payment will be made via PayPal on final completion of the project (although we are open to negotiating a payment schedule with the successful candidate).
